In the center I had as teachers Huedo Vincent, with whom I reinforced my base drawing and Montse Coast I learned color theory. During this learning period I won two major awards at the Generalitat of Catalonia, the first in 1991 in a contest in honor of Antoni Clave and the second in 1993 in another call to honor Guinovart. In 1995 I started the career of Fine Arts with the idea of painting but ended up making a specialty of this image (picture and video)
In 1999, with the race finished, I found work as a drawing teacher at the school where I studied, "Bell · lloc del Pla. I rented a studio where they began the first exhibitions around the theme of jazz. The cycles and jazz festivals gave me the opportunity to make some posters and display in different towns and cities: Girona, Torroella de Montgrí, Figueres, Terrassa, Barcelona.
In 2003, after four years combining working as a painter and teacher, I left school before I would catch some mental illness (still continuing to work with drawings and posters). So I stayed with mental health more than economic. But, providentially, I won a scholarship convened by the Foundation aimed at young painters Fita Girona. Intended to make a series of paintings inspired by the world of graffiti using the same tools as the street performers while the mine, acrylic and collage. The result was an exhibition entitled "recycling the graffiti and the completion of a mural on the outer wall of the foundation. The scholarship enabled me to rent a larger study and meet some artists in the city.
Besides painting, I've also done some work for book illustration and murals at various locations. In 2005 I was awarded a prize acquisition in the "International Competition 2005 of the plastic arts Alicia Alonso", convened by Gallery Annta Madrid.
What now? Well, keep painting, finding new ways of doing, new reasons ... having fun and hope you like my work.
