Born in Bogota Colombia on June 23, 1975, of Italian origin, between 1995 and 1998, attended the faculty of fine arts at the University of the Andes. There are several ways how plastics such as drawing, painting, engraving and photography but showed a particular interest in new technologies and audiovisual media. Influenced by movements such as the Land Art and Arte Povera, performs several installations, videos and performances, but never leaves the drawing and painting, which means considers crucial to his artistic development.

In 1998 decided to complete his artistic training in Milan-Italy, the Academy of Fine Arts Brera. There is devoted to sculpture and drawing under the guardianship of the master Paolo Gallerani, both benefited from a grant from the Lombardy Region. After integrating the programme of Communication Arts and Media, led by Paolo Rosa, director of the renowned art collective Studio Azzurro. In 2001 benefited from a scholarship exchange of the European Economic Community, to study Film and Visual Arts at The University of Saint Denis in Paris.

In 2005, under the direction of Professor Maren Köpp, made a thesis entitled: "The language film in the works of Finnish artist Eija-Liisa Ahttila." Finally settles in Paris where he lives and works today.

Without forgetting its audiovisual production, which is constantly evolving, the collection of works by Giovanni Randazzo, whose greatest influence comes from Abstract Expressionism, has become particularly prolific in the last 6 years.
